๐ฏ KEY LEVELS
๐ด Resistance: $4,089
๐ข Support: $3,960
๐ DAILY BIAS
๐ด BEARISH
Gold is trading below every major daily moving average. Price opened at $4,089, sold off all day, and is clinging to $4,000 by its fingernails. Three Fed hikes priced in for 2026 and PCE at 4.1% mean sellers stay in control.
๐ฅ BREAKOUT WATCH
Eyes on $4,089. That's today's high and Friday's close. Bulls need a clean reclaim of that level to shift any momentum. Below it, every bounce is just a chance for sellers to reload.
๐ PULLBACK WATCH
$4,000 is the floor and it's already been tested. Price tagged $4,000.05 intraday and barely held. Lose $4,000 on a daily close and $3,960 opens up fast. That's the next daily support and it's a long way down.
๐ฐ WHAT'S MOVING GOLD TODAY
The US-Iran ceasefire ahead of Doha peace talks Tuesday pulled safe-haven demand out of gold. Dollar slipped on the news but gold got hit harder because the real driver is the Fed. Warsh reaffirmed the inflation fight, PCE is running at 4.1%, and markets are pricing a 60% chance of a September hike.
โ ๏ธ WHAT TO WATCH TOMORROW
JOLTS Job Openings for May drops Tuesday morning. A strong number pushes Fed hike odds higher and gold lower. Watch whether price can hold $4,000 overnight before the print. Also watch the Doha talks. Any breakdown in the Iran-US ceasefire brings safe-haven bids back in fast.
๐ ECONOMIC CALENDAR
JOLTS Job Openings Tuesday, ADP Employment Change Wednesday, then June NFP Thursday. This is the biggest jobs week of the month. A hot NFP print seals the September hike and ends any hope of a $4,000 recovery.
