๐ DAILY BIAS
๐ด BEARISH
Gold is grinding through its fourth straight weekly loss. Price opened at $4,089, sold off all session, and never recovered. Dollar strength is the story and the Fed just gave it more fuel - Kashkari flipped hawk Friday, Warsh is holding the line on hikes, and markets now price 62% odds of a September move.
๐ฅ BREAKOUT WATCH
Eyes on $4,114. That's the daily key resistance and the level bulls need to reclaim before this gets interesting. Clean daily close above it and $4,175 opens up fast. Right now buyers can't even hold the open.
๐ PULLBACK WATCH
$3,960 is the floor. That demand zone has held back sellers, but it's being tested. Lose it on a daily close and $3,820 is the next stop with nothing in between worth mentioning.
๐ฐ WHAT'S MOVING GOLD TODAY
PCE came in line Thursday and gold caught a brief bid as rate hike odds for September slipped from 68% to 62%. Dollar eased slightly on Friday. But the bigger picture hasn't changed - the US-Iran peace deal is killing safe-haven demand, oil is back to pre-conflict levels, and the Fed hiking cycle is very much alive.
โ ๏ธ WHAT TO WATCH TOMORROW
ISM Manufacturing PMI Monday morning - first real data of the week. A hot number reinforces the hawkish Fed narrative and puts immediate pressure on $3,960. Watch pre-market futures for early direction.
๐ ECONOMIC CALENDAR
NFP Thursday is the week's nuclear event. A strong jobs number cements a September hike and guts any bull case for gold. JOLTS Tuesday and ISM Manufacturing Monday also carry weight this week.
