๐ DAILY BIAS
๐ข BULLISH
Gold snapped a four-week losing streak in one session. Weak NFP at 57,000 - less than half the 110,000 forecast - torched the dollar below 101 and sent September hike odds to a coin flip. Price is back above $4,150 and bulls now own the momentum into the holiday weekend.
๐ฅ BREAKOUT WATCH
Eyes on $4,220. That's where the descending channel top, the R1 pivot, and the 61.8% Fibonacci of the June downswing all stack up together. Clean break above that and $4,350 opens fast. Buyers are loading up right here.
๐ PULLBACK WATCH
$4,000 is the line. That level held as the floor through the entire June selloff and it's the only reason bulls have a story right now. Lose $4,000 and the next real floor doesn't show up until $3,827. Defend it or this rally was just a dead-cat bounce.
๐ฐ WHAT'S MOVING GOLD TODAY
June NFP printed 57,000 jobs - the worst in four months and a gut punch to the dollar. Fed hike probability for September dropped from 67% to under 50% on the data alone. Safe haven demand is also stacking: Doha talks between the US and Iran broke down without a deal and central banks added 41 metric tons to reserves in May.
โ ๏ธ WHAT TO WATCH TOMORROW
US markets are closed July 4 for Independence Day - thin liquidity Friday through Sunday means price can whip on nothing. First real event is ISM Services PMI Monday morning July 6. Strong services number resurrects the hike narrative and hits $4,000 fast.
๐ ECONOMIC CALENDAR
No US trading July 4-5. July 6 brings ISM Services PMI - the next big test for September hike pricing. FOMC meeting minutes drop July 8 and could define the bias for the rest of the month.
